Berlin, 2nd August 2019
From 5 August 2019, the Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW) will be flying for the first time for the Greek airline Sky Express. The Dash 8 Q400 regional aircraft will be stationed at Athens Airport. Under the wet lease agreement, the Zeitfracht Group subsidiary LGW will serve the airports of Heraklion, Santorini and Chania from there.
Dominik Wiehage, Managing Director of LGW: “With Sky Express we were able to win a reliable partner of our sister company WDL as a new customer for us. We are delighted to be able to extend this successful cooperation to LGW in the future.” Furthermore, Wiehage sees the agreement with Sky Express as confirmation of the course the company has taken: “Our customers know that they can rely on our service. Best customer service, punctuality and fast, uncomplicated handling will continue to be LGW’s top priorities in the future. We are very pleased with LGW’s positive development.”
WDL Aviation, also a subsidiary of the Zeitfracht Group, is currently cooperating again with Sky Express under a wet lease agreement. The Greek airline has been on a growth course since it was founded in 2005.
